WE ALL NEED YOGA!

HOT YOGA VINYASA

Our Hot Yoga Vinyasa class is practiced in a heated room (around 94 to 98 degrees).  Disconnect from the chaos of the outside world while we guide you through fluid movements synchronized to your breath as you connect one posture to the next. Each posture, some more dynamic than others, may be held for a few breaths before transitioning into the next pose challenging you physically and mentally. Our Hot Yoga Vinyasa is structured to create self-awareness, de-stress the mind, and tone muscles while improving flexibility and strength.

HATHA/VINYASA YOGA (non-heated)

PRENATAL/GENTLE YOGA

This class is perfect for for beginners, expectant mothers, postpartum or anyone looking to relieve anxiety and let go of some stress. Practiced in an air-conditioned environment, this class allows students to flow gently through each posture. Our Gentle Yoga / Prenatal Yoga allows you the time and space to connect with your mind, body, and spirit... and for our soon-to-be-mommy...the perfect opportunity to bond with your baby and other expectant moms. This daytime pick-me-up will put you in the best mood as you breathe, let go, and recharge.

Why should you practice PRENATAL YOGA?

~Because prenatal yoga increases mom's strength, flexibility, and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth.

~Because it calms the nervous system which helps mom sleep better, improve her digestion, and optimizes her immune system.

~Because it increases circulation which helps decrease swelling.

~Because it prepares mom for labor through the practice of breath.

~Because this is your time to bond with your baby.

~Because it is only for a short time that we experience the miracle of having two hearts beating within.

~Because it is a great low impact way to stay in shape during pregnancy.

~Because this it is your time to connect and chat with other pregnant women and just maybe form some great new friendships.

**It is recommended to wait til you are 10 to 12 weeks along before starting a new yoga practice.  However, you should always check with your doctor first before starting any new exercise routine, even if it is yoga.  If you have any questions concerning the class, our schedule, or our studio, please feel free to email us at om@body4yoga.com.
