Frequently asked questions…

Q - How do I schedule a class and get my FIRST CLASS FREE?

A - Simply click the “SCHEDULE” tab and either click the link to use the “mindbody app” or click “book” next to the class you want to attend to reserve your spot in class. If you have never used mindbody before, you will be prompted to create an account with your email and information. The system will automatically send you an email to verify the information given. Even though the first class is free, you will be prompted to add a credit card to your profile because of our Late Cancellation and No-Show policy.

Q - What is your Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy?

A - We have designed our studio room to give everyone enough space to practice without feeling crowded. To do that, we have limited the number of students allowed per class.  As a result, we have introduced No-Show & Late Cancellation Fees.  If you cancel your reservation 12-hours prior to class time, there is no charge.   Clients cancelling their reservations within 12-hours will be charged a $10 Late Cancel Fee. Anyone who has registered for class and fails to attend without cancelling will be charged a $25 No-Show Fee.  All cancellations must be made by the student through the Mindbody app or Mindbody online.  Phone calls, messages or emails will not be accepted as an attempt to cancel. By cancelling your reservation early, you are allowing someone else the opportunity to book that class.

Q - I have never done yoga before or attended a yoga class at a yoga studio. How do I dress?

A - Wear clothing that allows you to move freely. Anything you would wear to the gym would be perfect.

Q - Should I eat before class?

A - In general, it is best to not eat anything an hour before doing yoga (or any exercise). However, if you're hungry, it's better to eat something rather than have no energy for class. So if you have to eat, try to choose something light. Also…most important, come to class hydrated. So in addition to bringing water with you to class, start drinking water way before.

Q - What do I need to bring to class?

A - You will need a yoga mat in all of our classes. If you do not have a yoga mat to bring with you, no worries, we rent yoga mats for $5. You may also want to bring water. We have a filtered water to fill any container you bring and we also sell bottle of waters at the front desk. We provide any other props used in class (example yoga blocks, yoga straps/belts, weights, resistance bands, pilates rings or pilates balls.

Q - What if I need to shower after class?

A - We have a shower available to clients at the studio. Kindly bring your towel with you.

Q - What if I want to bring a friend?

A - Because we have limited the number of students allowed in each class in order to give sufficient space for everyone to practice, each person attending must reserve their own spot by booking the class.

Q - How does the waitlist work?

A - When a class is at capacity, the system automatically opens up the class’ “Waitlist”. If someone cancels their booking and a spot opens up, the system will automatically move the person at the top of that waitlist into class and send a notification (depending on how communication has been enabled) by either email or text. Please keep in mind, that once you have been moved into class, you are responsible for that reservation. If you are no longer available to attend, you must reply to that message accordingly to avoid any late cancellation fee. If you are on the “Waitlist” and are no longer available to attend, we kingly ask you remove yourself from the waitlist and give someone else the opportunity to be moved into class.

If a spot becomes available within an hour of the class start time, the system will notify everyone on the waitlist and the first to reply will be moved into class.

Q - I have ClassPass, so why can’t I see the class I want to attend on my ClassPass schedule?

A - Although we do accept Classpass, we give priority to our own members. That means, that only a very limited amount of spots are available to Classpass members. You may want to consider purchasing a Drop-In, Pass, Package or membership so that you don’t miss your favorite instructors.
